Sunday, July 17 from 4-6 p.m. • The Southern Oregon Guild presents a new summer Guild Member Art Exhibit, titled Chaos & Order. Join us for a FREE opening celebration at the Guild Gallery Sunday, July 17 from 4-6 p.m. featuring live jazz music by Terry D. Davis, presentations by local creatives, refreshments, and appetizers. New Guild artists will be showcasing their work and visitors are encouraged to share their dreams for the future in our special “Tree of Hope” sculpture. Chaos & Order will be on display from July 17-October 1. The Guild Gallery and Art Center is open Tuesday-Saturday 10 a.m.-4 p.m.and is located in the Kerby Belt Building at 24353 Redwood Highway Kerby, OR 97531. Mark your calendar now! The CJ Farmers Market and Southern Oregon Guild presents the 7th Annual Upcycle Art and Furniture Contest with Trash Fashion show! First place $500 plus more cash prizes for all ages! Reuse and repurpose found objects to make a piece of art, sturdy piece of furniture or clothing item! **Food Pantry Tuesdays 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. Cave Junction Adventist/Community Services Food Distribution, 265 S. Old Stage Rd. John started teaching the United States Constitution in 1991, is the author of The Constitution of the United States: A Study Guide, and believes self-government is the key to a productive and prosperous life. ** HIV Alliance offers services in Cave Junction every Tuesday from noon – 3 p.m. at Immanuel United Methodist Church (across from Shop Smart). Services include: Free and confidential HIV and Hep C testing. Needle Exchange and drop box (all syringes welcome), and overdose response and Naloxone training.
