Sunday, June 19

*Luey Magic Ocean Music Glenn was taken into custody near the 200 block of N. Redwood Hwy. at 11:54 a.m. Glenn was detained in Josephine County Jail (JCJ) on two warrants from Josephine County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO). One was a felony warrant for failure to appear (FTA) for public indecency and four counts of second-degree trespass. The other was for misdemeanor FTA for second-degree trespass.
*A model 12 16-gauge pump shotgun and a 1903 sporterized military rifle .30-06 were reported missing from the 600 block of Fernwood Drive at 11:23 p.m.

Monday, June 20
*A traveler from Brookings to Valley of the Rogue State Park was overdue at 1:45 a.m. The driver of a silver-colored Dodge pickup truck and tan fifth-wheel suffers from medical conditions including seizures and a brain injury that makes it difficult for him to speak.
*Grants Pass Department of Public Safety (GPDPS) held a misdemeanor warrant for Raeann Marie Brown for second-degree theft. Brown was apprehended near S. Redwood Hwy. and E. Watkins Street at 12:01 p.m., then released and cited to appear in Josephine County Circuit Court (JCCC) July 11.
*At 1:12 p.m. a resident in the 600 block of Pine Cone Drive decided to construct a moat for protection from homeless individuals, but a worker wanted law enforcement to provide security. JCSO advised that they would not sit and watch the trench-digger.

Tuesday, June 21
*Creative crooks took a large TV and a bag of paintbrushes from a trailer at Earth People’s Park in the 1300 block of Rockydale Road, according to a report at 7:21 a.m.
*Trespassers in the 200 block of S. Redwood Hwy. refused to leave because their van was broken down, but a green and white-striped tow truck was parked right next to the van at 4:19 p.m.

Wednesday, June 22
*A fellow suffered burns to his left ear, and his beard was singed, so he was transported from the 33000 block of Redwood Hwy. by American Medical Response at 3:34 p.m. A careless individual hurt the man when he played around with a torch/flame thrower, then rendered aid with burn cream and an ice pack. (What a guy.) Pending further investigation, a charge of third or fourth-degree assault will be forwarded to Josephine County District Attorney.
*A gold-colored 2022 Toyota Camry was taken from vacant property near Schumacher Street and Retirement Lane between June 15 and 21.
*Robert Blasé was under the influence and experiencing wardrobe malfunctions near children at the playground at Jubilee Park at 8:52 p.m. Blasé was detained in JCJ on JCSO warrants for resisting arrest, second-degree disorderly conduct, and second-degree criminal trespass.

Thursday, June 23
*A report was filed for fourth-degree assault following an incident in the 100 block of S. Redwood Hwy. at 10:38 p.m. A guy suffered a possible broken jaw after the driver of a blue Honda minivan punched him in the face.

Friday, June 24
*Before a trespasser left a store in the 100 block of S. Redwood Hwy., she stuffed clothing in a bag at 11:02 a.m.
*At 6:41 p.m. a fellow claimed that his gun safe, ten guns, vehicle titles, and cash were stolen within the last two days from the 1600 block of Happy Camp Road. A dolly was left behind.

Saturday, June 25
*Numerous items and furniture were missing following a burglary in the 500 block of Briar Lane, per a report at 1:03 a.m.
*Folks felt threatened while floating on Illinois River near the 28200 block of Redwood Hwy. at 3:05 p.m. Two people told them the area was a private, non-navigable, protected waterway and not a public access. The property owners claimed they owned both sides of the bank and the water rights, and the section was a “fish sanctuary,” so they did not allow people there. However, a trooper with Oregon State Police advised they could not keep people from being in the water in their “portion”of the river.
*A groaning guy grabbed people’s legs at 3:23 p.m. at the Illinois Valley Visitor’s Center in the 200 block of Caves Hwy. (Zombie alert.)
*Two people were taken into custody near milepost 20 of Hwy. 199 at 10:26 p.m. Skylar Melton was wanted by JCSO for a post-prison supervisory authority warrant on an original charge of possession of meth. GPDPS held a warrant for Jennifer Reviea for FTA for second-degree theft. Melton and Reviea were detained in JCJ.
